Luis Sepúlveda – animations

A truly personal project, I love fairy tales, myths and tales, finding and telling stories. Illustration and motion design are a great tool to do this and that’s why I decided to embark on this personal project of animating stories that I like by experimenting with techniques and with my language.

This part is dedicated to Luis Sepúlveda’s collection of stories.

The snail and the owl

I’ve illustrate and animate a small part of the book “Historia de un caracol que descubrió la importancia de la lentitud” by Luis Sepúlveda. I’ve rapresented the moment when small snail meet the wise owl.

The white whale and the seagull

I illustrated and animated a small part of the book “Historia de una ballena blanca contada po ella misma” by Luis Sepúlveda with frame by frame animation. I have represented an excerpt from the encounters of the white whale with the whaler and the seagull.

Trewa and Kudemallu (The dog and the firefly)

I’ve illustrate and animate a small part of the book “Historia de un perro llamado Leal” by Luis Sepúlveda. I’ve rapresented the moment when the faithful dog meets the little firefly.

Mix e Mex

For a instagram personal project, I’ve illustrate and animate a small part of the book “Historia de Mix, de Max y de Mex” by Luis Sepúlveda. I’ve rapresented the moment when Mix and Mex fly together over the roofs of the houses.
